Why "it agreed with me" proves nothing.
AI tools tend to agree with you. Researchers found that when users said "I don't think that's right," AI assistants often changed a correct answer to a wrong one. (That study tested 2023-era tools. Newer tools may behave differently, but the habit still protects you.)
So "it agreed with me" proves nothing. Neither does "it changed its mind."
Instead:
- Open a new chat and ask a neutral question: "What does the evidence show about…?" rather than "Explain why … is true."
- Ask for both sides: "Give the strongest case for each side, and what would change each conclusion."

Agreement from AI isn't confirmation. For health, money, or legal questions, take them to a qualified professional or an official source.
